She is the author of NEW BELIEFS, NEW BRAIN: Free Yourself from Stress and Fear, and NEUROSCULPTING: A Whole-Brain Approach to Heal Trauma, Rewrite Limiting Beliefs, and Find Wholeness. As the Founder of the Neurosculpting® modality Lisa runs a private meditation practice in Colorado teaching clients who suffer from stress disorders, and she is a faculty member of Kripalu Yoga and Meditation Center, and the Law Enforcement Survival Institute.

Lisa developed Neurosculpting® as a method to support self-directed neuroplasticity through the union of neuroscience and meditation practices to aid in the down-regulation of chronic CNS arousal states. Unique to the Neurosculpting® methodology is its methodical structure and intentional whole-brain engagement designed to support the management of stress through specific languaging, and simultaneously up-regulate focused attention through life practices including brain-specific nutrition. Neurosculpting® uses self-directed neuroplasticity to support repatterning in a five-part system. Part one is a down-regulation of hyperactive stress activity and an engagement with parasympathetic response. Part two involves practices to enhance focused attention to support with emotional regulation. Part three increases the activity between our analytical self and our intuitive feeling self. Part four links somatosensory engagement to perceptual shifts in patterns. Part five enables the user to easily identify and replicate the process in day-to-day activities.
