If you've ever wondered how to streamline nourishing your body with food, you'll love today's conversation with Kate O'Donnell. Kate recently released the The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook: A Seasonal Guide to Eating and Living Well.

Kate and I found we both teach Ayurveda based on the Gunas instead of the doshas . We find it's an easier way to help people tap into what is happening within their bodies, and an easier tool to move towards balance.. One does not need to be well versed in Ayurveda to feel for hot, cold, dry, and light, for example (thought one does need to practice attention).

With an understanding of the effects of seasonal changes, and how to balance these changes through the diet and a few good habits, Ayurveda can serve anyone empowered to stay healthy. Listen in...

I rap with Kate O'Donnell about her  Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook
  • Setting your food body up the night before
  • Cooking in the am tips
  • shifting  Ayurveda from dosha focuses instead of seasonal focus

What you’ll also get out of tuning in
  • How to get your family to stop snacking
  • Why snacking creates emotional havoc
  • Tips for breakfast for kids to keep them going until lunch
