Nir Eyal is interested broadly in a field he calls “behavior
engineering”, a topic at the intersection of psychology,
technology, and business. Behavior engineering encompasses user
experience design, behavioral economics, and a dash of
neuroscience.
He's a Lecturer in Marketing at the Stanford Graduate School of
Business and since 2003 he's founded two technology companies. He's

writes to help companies create behaviors that benefit their users,
while educating people on how to build healthful habits in their
own lives.
