Kate O’Donnell, author of the new, yet to be released cookbook, Everyday Ayurveda Cooking for a Calm, Clear Mind talks with me about the three gunas: sattva, rajas and tamas, in relation to who we are on this planet and our bigger life goals. We dive deep into the patterns of Ayurveda, the food we choose to nourish ourselves with, and the connections between human beings and the planet. We talk about health evolution, the expansiveness of our minds and bodies, the process of self nourishment and how we can connect with seeds, plants and the earth. When we connect with the foods that we eat, we can awaken our own psyches and pacify our monkey minds. In this way we can learn how to nourish ourselves properly and fully, in order to become clear in mind and body and uplevel our lives. Tune in to this expansive episode for some sustaining and juicy conversation on one of the most important aspects of our lives and something that we all need and love: food.
