Charlotte (46) and Georgia (13) hiked 789 miles from Mexico to Utah. It all started with boredom. Georgia was bored of being stuck at home looking at a screen due to pandemic measures. And her mom Charlotte, an experienced hiker and runner had the idea to go on a hike.
The Arizona Trail, as it is called, turned out to be a crazy, amazing trip. Meeting only other hikers along the way, they experience the diversity of the Arizona landscape, adjusted to the hard conditions, and bonded deeply.
Listen to the episode to know more about how to start hiking, preparing for a big hike, and what to expect when hiking.
